Bagnai mi piace, però si diverte un po' troppo a spalare merda (no, quello era Scacciavillani, allora diciamo, spalare un po' di merdina) sulla MMT e sugli economisti che la propongono.

Non ci sono prove del collegamento di Wray col Peterson Institute, o con la relativa fondazione. Su quel blog semplicemente scrive gente di diversi indirizzi e tendenze, perchè il suddetto blog (che è di Roubini) vuole darsi un'aria di imparzialità. Nulla di strano.

E comunque, un presunto collegamento tra Wray e i falchi come Peterson sono facilmente smentibili dal fatto che Wray e gli economisti della MMT hanno sempre detto chiaramente e pubblicamente cosa pensano della suddetta organizzazzione. Questo è Wray:

Right before the event, we also issued a joint piece examining the nine worst myths, posted at both New Deal 2.0 (here) and at the Huffington Post (here). The flurry and fury of comments to our piece was amazing, nay, shocking. I think these comments demonstrate just how successful the billions of dollars spent in Peterson's campaign have been at promulgating dangerous falsehoods over the past two decades. Indeed, the level of commentary is notable both for the vitriol and for its sheer ignorance. One wonders whether civil and informed discussion on the topic of money is even possible.

In rete ce ne sono molte altre di dichiarazioni come queste. Dovrebbe bastare a scacciare ogni sospetto. Se Bagnai fosse meno ostile verso i MMTisti lo apprezzerei. Adesso pare voglia pure dimostrare che Barnard avrebbe raccontato balle quando ha detto che hanno salvato l'Argentina (chiara esagerazione)... ci farà sapere presto. Io sono pronto con l'ombrello. Preparatevi anche voi.
