La vita è, di fatto, una lotta.
Su questo punto pessimisti e ottimisti si trovano d'accordo. Il male è insolente ed è forte; la bellezza è stupenda, ma è rara; la bontà è spesso soggetta a essere debole, la follia a essere arrogante e la malvagità ad avere la meglio: gli imbecilli ai posti d'onore e i migliori in disparte; e l'umanità, nel suo complesso, infelice."

Is cracking at the seams.
Upon the instruments of death
The sunlight brightly gleams.
When every man is torn apart
With nightmares and with dreams,
Will no one lay the laurel wreath

Confusion will be my epitaph.
