I believe that CNT will be recognized as a real power source only after the start of selling Rossi's e-Cats on commercial level, the market decides, the market convinces.
Very unfortunately, we here in Russia are in some delay, missing investments. I hope that the CNT era will start this year.

The Fleischmann Pons cold fusion is characterized by power densities of 1Watt per cc, i.e. ~0.1 W/gram metal while the Lugano Hot Cat gave 2000W and more per gram metal. An incredible 4 orders of magnitude increase. What does explain this huge difference between the F-P effect and the Rossi Effect?

According to the representation of my Model of Erzion Catalysis (MEC) in the case of Rossi's Hot Cat, the fuel is not only nickel but also lithium aluminum tetrahydride and even a part of the ceramic tube that constitutes the Cell. The specific output power is increased both due to the greater quantity of fuel effectively consumed and to a much more intense, compact process of CNT - the pioneer of which is Piantelli. Add to this that according to MEC the use of LiAlH4 increases energy density 100 times more than deuterium and its use is Rossi's merit- the system functioning consistently as a whole.
It is clear, despite being a theorist, Bazhutov is a realist and knows that worldwide and for each country, the only realist scenario is commercial application first and acceptance after - can happen. No scientific paper or idea can bring radical changes. The Russian CNT/LENR strategy systematically avoids wishful thinking.
My second question re the Rossi Effect vs the Fleischmann-Pons Effecr is actually unanswerable today but Bazhutov knows well that the great difference is based on cumulative and multiplicative effects, in the same time. The details will come

2) Pragmatic Parkhomov
It is still a Parkhomov (*) moment, the world is waiting his new results to be announced on 27 and 29 January. He helps MFMP and actually has started
a replication epidemics of the tricky, extremist in the best sense, decisive Hot Cat process. I was worried because he is working in a University laboratory, but he has explained me that his laboratory i well organized and independent from the research bureaucracy. This means he is wise and pragmatic- as we could seen of his mode of action. Therefore I hope this summer he will be able to perform the much desired 64 days continuous Hot Cat experiment, 64 (the double of 32) is beneficial for both LENR and chess. After that one, isotopic shift will become mainstream.

(*) ha generato un certo clamore il suo annuncio, nel periodo natalizio 2014, di aver replicato l'esperimento di A. Rossi. Ovviamente siamo su due livelli diversi: Rossi e' partito in quarta per l'industrializzazione dell'E-cat, pero' sta pure studiando il piu' promettente Hot-cat. Parkhomov, lavorando in un'univerista', si concentra sulla ricerca piu' che sullo sviluppo industriale. Promette che si dara' la pena di indagare sulla questione dello strano shift isotopico riscontrato dai redattori del cosiddetto 'report dei professori' (svedesi e italiani). Per far questo ci vogliono attrezzature piuttosto sofisticate, che non si trovano nel primo garage sottocasa.

Gli americani non stanno a guardare.
Primo, l'organizzazione dell'imminente congresso mondiale sulla fusione fredda (cosiddetta) ICCF-19, che avra' luogo fra qualche settimana a Padova, e' praticamente sponsorizzato dall'ENEA di Roma, che a sua volta collabora strettamente con gli USA. Come dire, saranno loro a tirare i fili.
Secondariamente Gluck da' la notizia che Robert Duncan sta mettendo in piedi in Texas un nuovo centro di ricerca sulle LENR, denominato Center for Emerging Energy Studies (Centro per lo studio dell'energia emergente). Si mormora che il noto M. McKubre, uno che ha vissuto attivamente e tenacemente dall'interno tutta la vicenda LENR, fin dai tempi di Fleischmann e Pons, sia disposto a traslocare nel nuovo centro dallo SRI di Stanford. L'ENEA e' fortememnte coinvolta in questo nuovo centro di ricerca texano.
Come rileva continuamente Peter Gluck, il futuro delle LENR non sta nell'elettrolisi, bensi' nella comprensione di cosa avviene realmente a secco in certi metalli straimbevuti di idrogeno, piu' altri "trucchi" sperimentali che mano mano cominciano ad essere svelati.
Sembra un po' di essere agli albori della macchina a vapore. Watt ignorava il ciclo di Carnot, eppure realizzo' un prototipo funzionante di macchina a vapore. Vabbe',come paragone vale quel che vale. Sta solo a significare che normalmente e' la prassi a precedere la teoria, la quale tendenzialmente arriva dopo a far ordine e chiarezza. Ok, ci sono state eccezioni importantissime, ma erano eccezionali anche i cervelli e l'humus del tempi, il cosiddetto Zeitgeist.
Mi auguro che questo campo delle LENR non venga in qualche modo confinato nell'ambito del purtroppo sempre piu' perverso complesso militar-industriale americano. Molti segni lasciano presagire che non sara' cosi'. Speriamo bene. E' un bene anche che il settore proceda piuttosto piano. Comunque ha ormai gli occhi di enti importanti puntati addosso: NASA, Elforsk svedese, Airbus francese.
